About Dr. Manar Ghazi Albadarneh
Dr. Manar Ghazi Albadarneh is a Psychologist at ACPN Al Ain. She holds a PhD in Psychological Counseling from Yarmouk University, Jordan (2020). She also received a Master’s (2014) and a Bachelor’s degrees in Psychological Counseling (2012) from the same institution. She completed training and certifications in evidence-based psychological interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychological First Aid, and structured mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) programs. Dr. Albadarneh is a licensed psychologist with DoH, Abu Dhabi.
With over 12 years of clinical and field experience, Dr. Albadarneh worked across governmental healthcare, hospital, NGO, and humanitarian settings in Jordan. Her last appointment was with Action Against Hunger (ACF) Jordan, where she delivered specialized MHPSS services, built capacity among healthcare and psychosocial professionals, and provided individual and group psychological interventions for adults, children, and families. Previously, she worked with Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières) providing individual and group psychotherapy, psychological assessments, crisis interventions, and home-based follow-ups, including remote care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her earlier roles include serving as a Child Protection Psychologist with the International Medical Corps (IMC), a Family Counselor in the public sector, and a volunteer clinician at King Abdullah University Hospital, collaborating closely with psychiatrists in medical and neuropsychiatric services.
Dr. Albadarneh’s clinical interests include anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, family and marital conflict, child and adolescent mental health, adjustment disorders, and stress-related challenges. Her expertise is based in family counseling, group-based interventions, psychoeducation, and community mental health awareness. She takes a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and ethically sound approach to care that is focused on building resilience, through emotional regulation, and family systems. Dr. Albadarneh is committed to enabling and strengthening mental health access within diverse and vulnerable communities.
