Lavya Jose

Ms. Lavya Jose is a dedicatedSpeech and Language Therapist at ACPN in Abu Dhabi, holding both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from Manipal University, India, earned in 2012. She is certified as an AVAZ Certified AAC Professional, a Certified Autism Healthcare Professional (IBCCES), and holds TalkTools Level 1 certification for Oral Placement Therapy. Additionally, Ms. Jose has foundational training in PROMPT for articulation and Makaton for alternative communication. She is a licensed SLT with Abu Dhabi’s DoH.

With over 11 years of clinical experience, Ms. Jose worked across diverse settings. She began her career at Parijma Neuro Diagnostic Center in India, gaining extensive experience in pediatric neurodevelopment. She advanced her practice at Al Tawasul Specialized Center in Qatar before moving to the UAE in 2017. In Dubai, Ms. Jose was lead therapist at the Child Learning and Enrichment Medical Center. Most recently, she worked for over four years in the pediatric neurodevelopment department at NMC Royal Hospital Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, before joining ACPN. Her work integrates evidence-based practices such as Hanen and ABA methodologies, with a focus on sensory processing challenges, ensuring holistic and individualized care for her clients.
