Maya Neji

Ms. Maya Neji is anOccupational Therapist at ACPN.She earned herBachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapyfrom the Higher School of Science and Technology of Tunis(ESSTST), Tunisia, in 2017. She is licensed by the Department of Health (DOH) in Abu Dhabi.Ms. Nejiholdsprofessionalcertifications including the CLASI Ayres Sensory Integration Certificate (2022), the SOS Approach to Feeding (2023), andDIRFloortime® training (101 and 201) in 2024.

With over seven years ofpediatricclinical experience, Ms. Neji began her professional journey inUAEin 2018workingacross clinical and educational settings such as Al Noor Center for Rehabilitation, Stars for Special Abilities, andIntercareHealthCenter.Herexperienceincludessupporting children with a range of developmental, motor, and sensory challengesthroughin-depth evaluations, formulating personalized treatment plans, and delivering interventions through both individual and group sessions. She collaborates with educators and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of carethroughhands-onfamily andteachereducation.

Ms. Neji’s clinical interests are focused onpediatricneurodevelopmental careusingstandardized techniques inoccupationalplaytherapy, activities ofdailyliving (ADL)training, and sensoryintegrationtherapy. She specializes in working with children withautism spectrum disorder(ASD), ADHD, Downsyndrome, developmental delays, sensory processing disorder, psychomotor delays, and learning difficulties.She is committed toevidence-based practice and family-centeredcare, aimingto promote each child’s independencethroughmeaningful participationandimproving theirquality of life across home, school, and communitysettings.
