Younus Battah

Mr. Younus Battah isSpeech Therapistat ACPN. He completed a Bachelor’s degree in Audiology & Speech Pathology from the Jordan University of Science and Technology Jordan in 2009. He received training in MED-EL Cochlear Implant Systems to aid clients with hearing loss. He remains a licensed practitioner in Jordan and is licensed to practice in Abu Dhabi through DOH.

Mr. Battah has more than ten years of experience working in speech therapy and audiology across Jordan, KSA, and UAE. His initial years in Jordan were at the Jordan Audiology and Speech Therapy Society and Ministry of Social Development for two years until 2011. He would then move to Saudi Arabia working there as SLT until 2012 in a private medical center.

Moving to Abu Dhabi in 2013, he worked in medical devices division at City Pharmacy for cochlear implants and hearing aids for four years until 2017. After attaining his license to practice Speech Therapy in Abu Dhabi, he worked at Al Ain Center for Rehabilitation and Munich Medical Center for two years each until 2021.

He is skilled at speech and language screening and assessment, individual and group therapy programs for people with speech delay, stuttering, feeding difficulties, voice disorders, articulation difficulties, pragmatic disorders, genetic syndromes, cleft lip and palate, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), learning difficulties.
