Dr. Waed Almnaizel

Dr. Waed Almnaizel is a Psychosocial Counselor at ACPN. She completed her Doctorate degree in Psychological Counseling with Honors from The Yarmouk University, Jordan, in 2022. She is a licensed psychologist in Jordan and the UAE, Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Almnaizel comes to Abu Dhabi from Jordan, where she gained experience in mental health and clinical psychology of over seven years. She worked for CARE International, Jordan as Psychosocial Counselor for five years before her arrival in Abu Dhabi in 2022. She is a skilled at supporting individuals suffering from mental or emotional distress such as relationship problems or bereavement, and working with people who have diverse needs, using a variety of therapeutic techniques including approaches to treatment to help a person manage anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions.

Dr. Almnaizel works with adults and children withanxiety disorders, includingpanic disorder, social phobia, obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD) and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and other mental health challenges. She is skilled in behavioral monitoring, psychological testing, research methods, rehabilitation techniques, and psychometrics.
