Starting out her career in psychology in 2015 in the UAE, she worked across varied roles in psychology. With an extensive background rooted in early intervention, she is skilled in psychological assessments, therapeutic intervention plans, and interdisciplinary care, Ms. El Mubarak has worked across various clinical settings ranging from clinical to educational. With her last appointment as a Clinical Psychologist at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, she developed individualized treatment plans for adolescents and adults using evidence-based therapies such as CognitiveBehavioralTherapy (CBT) and DialecticalBehaviorTherapy (DBT). Previously, she worked at various private establishments across Al Ain and Abu Dhabi providing psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults, conducting educational assessments and developing tailored therapeutic plans.
